PAST PERFORMANCE

At DynaGrace Enterprises, our work in Trusted AI & Decision Support Systems is grounded in operationalizing artificial intelligence that decision makers can trust. Across multiple government, defense, and commercial missions, we have delivered secure, explainable, and transparent AI solutions that meet both operational demands and ethical compliance frameworks.

Digital Opacity Compliance System Generation II (DOCS II)

DynaGrace Enterprises (DGE) developed and deployed a Trusted AI-powered decision support platform for the Department of Defense (DoD) Digital Opacity Compliance System (DOCS II), modernizing regulatory emissions monitoring through explainable machine learning and secure cloud-based analytics. The DOCS II system was designed to reduce the DoD’s significant operational cost associated with manual human observer certifications while improving accuracy, consistency, and defensibility of opacity reporting for smokestacks and industrial emissions.

Serving as the primary AI integration partner to Virtual Technology LLC (VTLLC), DGE engineered a fully traceable, self-learning algorithm that applies predictive AI models to emission imagery, delivering real-time opacity determinations with continuous learning as datasets expand. This trusted architecture ensures that every AI-driven compliance determination can be audited, validated, and explained to regulators and oversight bodies, fully supporting EPA Alternative Method 082, ASTM D7520, EPA Method 9, and EPA Method 22 standards.

To ensure operational confidence, DGE integrated its AI models into a secure cloud-based platform accessible via RESTful web services, with all data transactions secured for integrity and transparency. The system’s mobile applications — available on both iOS and Android — combine camera-based analysis, geolocation, weather data, and accelerometer inputs, delivering adaptive, field-ready emissions monitoring solutions across varied environmental conditions.

By embedding trust, transparency, and regulatory compliance into every phase of the DOCS II solution, DynaGrace Enterprises delivered an AI-powered system that not only automates decision-making but stands up to rigorous government oversight — enabling fully defensible, mission-critical AI for DoD and environmental agencies.

5G Dynamic Spectrum Sharing Experimentation at Hill AFB

DynaGrace Enterprises (DGE) provided critical Trusted AI oversight and technical integration support to the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) under the Department of Defense’s 5G Dynamic Spectrum Utilization (DSU) initiative, led by the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)). This high-profile effort evaluated how next-generation 5G technologies could securely coexist with sensitive Department of Defense spectrum assets, including airborne radar and mission-critical systems operating in contested frequency bands.

In this multi-vendor, multi-disciplinary environment, DGE’s role was not direct experimentation but technical governance, decision support, and AI framework alignment. Our team served as a trusted independent technical resource, ensuring that contractor-developed AI-enabled analytics, predictive models, and sensing technologies integrated properly into government objectives, met technical performance expectations, and remained compliant with data integrity and cybersecurity requirements.

As part of our Trusted AI oversight role, DGE:

  • Managed Data-Driven Decision Workflows: Coordinated the integration of AI-powered analytics into the spectrum sharing testbed, ensuring data transparency, structured model outputs, and traceable decision support pipelines for government evaluation.
  • Ensured Model Alignment with Operational Requirements: Reviewed AI models for consistency with AFRL mission objectives, vendor technical scopes, and national security standards, helping leadership confidently assess experimental outcomes.
  • Monitored System-Wide Data Integrity: Validated that data ingestion pipelines, sensor calibration routines, and AI-driven recommendations adhered to defensible data standards to maintain scientific credibility in spectrum conflict resolution.
  • Provided Technical Vendor Coordination: Facilitated technical exchanges between multiple 5G vendors, hardware providers, and AFRL stakeholders to ensure integration readiness, interoperability, and secure AI deployment.
  • Advised on Trusted AI Principles: Helped government teams evaluate explainability, traceability, and auditability features of deployed AI models, supporting DoD’s ethical AI and AI governance frameworks.

By operating as a neutral, technically trusted third party, DynaGrace Enterprises ensured that AI-enabled analytics supporting 5G spectrum sharing experiments remained transparent, accountable, and operationally defensible. Our work directly enabled AFRL and OUSD(R&E) leadership to evaluate the risks, benefits, and trustworthiness of AI-powered spectrum deconfliction tools for potential future operational use.

DGE’s contribution to this landmark 5G experimentation project exemplifies our commitment to building Trusted AI frameworks — where data integrity, model accountability, and decision transparency are embedded at every stage of AI-enabled mission support.
